Prices are very good, albeit with a relatively shallow assortment of product within each line (as is to be expected from a warehouse store). Snack bar has insanely cheap prices for filing little tummies when out shopping. Service is unreliable (associates disappear when "going to check on that" and never return) and checkout times can be geological. [EDIT: Recent additions of self-checkout and a scan-and-go phone app have alleviated this issue a bit.] Still an acceptable trade-off. Watch sites like Groupon for discounts on membership prices.
I have never had a terrible experience at this location until tonight. After shopping for an hour, finding many items mislabeled or not labeled at all I was unable to price check an item due to an over zealous police office. This officer refused to allow me the opportunity to price an item that an older associate asked of me because the store was in fact closed. However, the situation could have been easily diffused had the officer not spoken to me with complete disrespect and disregard for what was happening. He then chose to grip about the store not telling him what was going on and why I was headed to check an item but as I told him that is not my problem. You should know your own job description. The associate even suggested that he could have handled it a better. Im truly disgusted in the way I was treated and it wont be the last they here of this.
Terrible Customer Service every time i have been. I shop at all the other Sam's, Homewood Sam's raise the price on some of there things, you can go to the other Sam's and get the same thing for cheaper. Start checking it out if you go to more than one.
I rarely see a good deal. You don't get much in terms of customer service. I'd go with Costco.
