These guys are always helpful, and seem to always have a solution. Total mom and pop experience. Glad to have as part of community. Have yet to go in and not find what I needed for weekend projects, pipes, yardwork, and repairs. Highly recommend.
Homewood Hardware is a great community shop to pick up your basic needs. They sell very little Pratt & Lambert paint and I am sure it is like swimming up stream for them fill any sizable order in that paint product line. If you need Pratt & Lambert paint, head to Rainbow Paint & Decorating in Vestavia Hills. They keep a lot of Pratt & Lambert in stock and do a great job selling it. Pratt & Lambert is the oldest paint company in the United States. Rainbow is also very helpful with window treatments and wallpaper.

Arrived at 5:15 on a weeknight after working through dense traffic only to be visually greeted by someone standing in the door gesturing closed (signaling finger across his neck in a cutting motion).
Always helpful employees. A great small business with relatively big choices.

You know it's a shame when a competitor like Rainbow Paint has to steep as low as bad mouthing another competitor like Homewood Hardware just so they can get business. I can remember in the days when Rainbow Paint use to be the store to go to. Rainbow's service is horrible and they price gouge people. I called in an order and they made me believe it was Benjamin Moore I was buying and it wasn't. The crew at Homewood Hardware has always been helpful in helping me with home projects. Their store is well stocked with merchandise . Try again Mr Pace!!
